Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) can significantly impact work and school performance, and interfere with interpersonal relationships. Symptoms are usually present from childhood and can include difficulty with focus and concentration, impulsivity, learning/processing difficulties, disorganization, and hyperactivity.
If any of this sounds familiar, it may be time for a formal evaluation.
With treatment, people with ADHD can be successful in school, work and lead productive lives. Researchers are using new tools such as brain imaging to better understand the condition and to find more effective ways to treat and prevent ADHD.
